Upcoming Graphics Cards?

This year I'm planning to upgrade my rig purely for Battlefield 3 which is coming out this autumn. Just wanted to know how likely graphics cards would get a refresh around that time? e.g Nvidia 6xx series or ATi 7xxx series.

I believe we'll see the new generation right about then, actually. Not sure how big a difference they'll bring in terms of performance, however. If nothing else, the current cards will be discounted.

The new cards should be on a 28nm process, which theoretically should improve performance. No idea what it will do to heat, or what the design cycles are within AMD/NVIDIA. Suspect AMD at least will have a new architecture rather than the respin they did between 5xxx and 6xxx.
