update bios

Should be notes on the download page if it doesn't say anything about needing a certain previous bios to update from assume your good to go.
 
Sometimes on Gigabyte boards you have to install a certain version number to get the latest update if you haven't in a while. Download several put them on a usb stick and try to go to the latest, if you can't install a slightly older version, once finished, update to the latest one.

it should say on the notes near to where you download on their website.

you have to read all the notes, info or anything else several times over because it is not 100% the same for all mobos and brands.
