As title says.

I defo remember seeing on ocuk the 1950 pro going for 130 ish but now its 180ish or somit which is too much just cos its agp (should be cheaper than pci grr).

So erm what is a good upgrade from a asus v9999 GE card for about 130 quid max (agp). Dont have to say competiors but if you know of a good card just sa y the brand and version and ill look about for it. If its said here its about the price range in mind.

Cheers.

Update -

Might update my motherboard from asus a8v deluxe to a8v-e deluxe (same mb with pci-e apparently). If i can get this cheap and in good condition from MM then i might get the board and a pci-e card.

If you're not going for a 1950 Pro (and £180 is a lot for an AGP card) then the 7600 GT is your only other option. The performance boost you'd get over a 6800 might not be all that much, around 25% more on average.

What is the rest of your system?

I'd upgrade your mobo and gfx card together. Then the world is you oyster as far as gfx card upgrade options:- The 1950 Pro is cheaper, you could get a OCuk 7900 GS, or a second hand X1800XT or X1900XT...
