update kb4480966 fails to install repetedly

How can I address or prevent this from trying to reinstall every day? Is it worth downloading and trying to install it manually?
The associated error is 0x800f0922. There is a1 terabyte worth of space on the drive so this isn't the issue. Thanks.

Try open Start and type in Disk Clean-Up and click on C: then click on Clean Up system files button, click to tick Windows Update Cleanup and click OK.

Then try run Windows Update to download and install KB4480966 again.

Disk clean-up should do it but try removing or renaming the Windows.old folder on the root of your system drive. There is a troubleshooter for update problems in the new settings system somewhere as well which sometimes sorts stuff like that.
