Update on brothers mugging situation

Just an update on my younger brothers mugging.

My dad went to the cop shop yesterday and my brother gave a full statement and so did his friend. The cops know who these guys are pretty well because theyve had to deal with them on a number of occassions.

The officer who took the statement advised that if there are a number of people who have been put in my brothers situation then chances are there should be no comeback on him.

Bottom line however is that both my brother and his friend are moving their studies to a different college, closer to home possibly. The fact that the cops will probably apprehend the trouble makers not long after my brothers mugging will probably help them add two and two together and point the finger at my bro. Hey it may not happen but better to take the extra precaution and get as far from the situation as possible.

My brother and his mate have both been told by the olds not to tell anyone theyre leaving college and especially not to tell anyone which college theyre going to.

Good. The fact that they're known to the Police speaks volumes really.

Think he'll be going to a local college which is not a very FUN place but where he can get his work done at least.

Oldies have told him to just get his work done at college and then he can go to uni and learn to look after himself whilst away.

It’s shocking that people can actually get away with this intimidating behaviour, even if they do get pulled in by the cops they will most likely get a slap on the wrist or maybe some community service. Your brother shouldn’t have to move college for some absolute wasters, they need a proper punishment to dissuade then from behaving like they are!

I think its shocking that if these people are known to the police that they havn't done anything about it to stop them doing it again (before you brothers mugging i mean).
