Hey folks, so my first actual build
I did a Pentium 4 a couple of years ago but that doesn't count as I stripped it down and rebuilt it for practice..
After research for over a year I eventually got around to starting my build/completing. There were some up and some downs but overall the computer runs and does what I want it to so a success in my eyes.
computer specs :
i5 2500k 3.3Ghz (Overclocked to 4.2 at the moment)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2
Sapphire HD 6850 Toxic Edition 1GB
Cooler master Silent Pro 850W Modular PSU
Cooler Master HAF X
Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Ballistix Memory Kit
Asus P8P67 Pro R3 P67
Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB
Crucial 64GB Real SSD C300
Extras:
CM Storm Inferno Wired Gaming Mouse
Logitech G510
Ozone Gaming Gear Ground Level XT
Samsung P2450H
Ok so once I got all the important part I built the computer only to have it not boot because of a faulty motherboard .
After getting a replacement the second build went great and I had all the parts by this point.

Ok you probably notice the modified Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 with the additional fan on top, well the cooler was the one thing I probably should have bought smarter. But because already had it I placed a 3000RPM fan on top with the fan stand offs to reduce noise. It runs fine and isn't that noisy, also does a good job of helping drop 5c of the CPU so now am running at 31c on idle
Any recommendations on an upgrade ?
