Hi all.. I am new to this forum . My last upgrade to my pc was back in 2011 and I have no idea what’s good or what to upgrade any more.. my specs are
Mb - Asus P8P67 Pro
CPU - I5 2500k (h80i cooler)
RAM - DDR3 8gb 1600mhz g.skill
GPU - R9 290x
Storage - 1tb HDD Samsung
PSU - 550w coolermaster

Well, you can upgrade to an i7-2600K or i7-2700K but you won't notice much of an improvement.

I'd suggest a new system, depending on your budget. You can reuse your current case, and include the 1TB HDD as a second drive.
