Update to windows 8?

Hi I've had windows 7 since it came out and was wondering whether there's any point in upgrading to 8? I know 10 is coming out at some point this year but I've never really used windows 8.

no real point imo,its not much different

maybe slightly faster in some games but that's bout it

you have to pay extra for windows media centre aswell in win8 if that's important

Just wait for win10. It should have a early adopter discount like win 8 did. really no point going 8 and paying full price, just for the hell of it now.

Wait for Windows 10 to come out. It's due shortly.
