They make cheap pc case too i think £20-£30, i've got 2 of them to join together will do a build log when i get round to it.

You buy a 5970 and skimp on a cheap PSU, although a cheap 1000 should be ok I'd of thought.
q-tec sells up to 650w psu's, it doesn't matter what it says, you'd be mad to buy and use one.

The same goes for this icute. Notice how it claims to be 1000w but it's actually 850w max? Tell-tale sign of a crap psu that should be skipped instantly and never used.

Always buy a decent branded PSU..

It doesn't matter how many Watts it says in the title, if its not decent its **** and chances are when it blows.. which it Will!!!! it will take the rest of your rig.. with it ;)

Ugh, i hate those cheapo powersupplies, like ColorsIT. Guaranteed to last about 3 months, or until you move the case. I don't miss the smell of burning electrical components.

So true, plus anyone whos been on the forum for a long time will know that this HAPPENS. Tagan and Q-Teq psu's exploding and setting on fire have destroyed numerous peoples systems on here. Even on the strictest of budgets, you must value the PSU as much as the best cpu or graphics card you can buy, as without it your basically ice skating on broken glass in bare feet...
