I recently bought an overclocked system from Overclockers. I 'thought' I had successfully saved my BIOS to a USB stick.. But when I did the BIOS update, the saved profile was gone, and when i tried to update it from my USB stick, it was no where to be seen.. :(

Anyway, my system details are as follows. When i received the system it was running at 4.0Ghz. So if anyone can point in the right direction as to what to change etc reguarding voltages etc as a starting point, it would be a great help :)

Gigabyte X58 G1 Sniper Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Mobo

Intel Core i7 980 3.33Ghz (Gulftown) (Socket LGA1366)

Kingston HyperX Genesis 24GB (6x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600Mhz Triple Channel

Cheers

That usually happens by design, as when a BIOS is updated the older settings can cause instability.

Your best bet would be to get in touch with Overclockers with your order number, as they should be able to help you out. However, they do include a warning that BIOS updates aren't supported. If not then I have settings for my overclock, though we have different processors and different motherboards. OCUK is still your best hope.
