Updated BIOS but everything reports old version

Hey again second question on this forum today. I guess thats the problem when your learning new stuff with computers.

So I have updated my BIOS to version F4 using gigabytes @BIOS internet BIOS installer and all went smoothly. Restarted the system and BIOS says that it is the new version but system information, CPU-Z and PCwizard are all reporting that I have the previous version still installed. Strangly @BIOS is the only program that tells me it is updated to F4.

So... Is it or not?

if your bios tells you that you are on F4, then you are on F4.

I assume that with the low version of the bios you're using a motherboard thats fairly new, which would make me hazard a guess that either the programs you are using might have some compatability issues with the board and/or the programs are reading the bios version off some registry value that hasn't updated itself yet and not off the system itself
