Updated bios now Windows pin doesn't come up

Just put the latest bios on now Windows says my pin no longer works any way to sort this without doing a fresh install of Windows 11.

This happens every time I update the BIOS on AMD (never happened on Intel)

As long as you login to Windows you should just be able to enter your details and setup a new pin.

Trouble with that is I go through the security questions I never received the code,i ended up doing a fresh install it's running great.

Windows Hello and Bitlocker can be broken by a BIOS update if it messes with the TPM keys.

I don't believe this is necessary, but some manufacturers still do it.

Yeh doing a bios update on my asus rog crosshair x870e it wasn't a problem.

Yes it is always better to backup the TPM keys before doing any BIOS update, some motherboards seem to erase it or create a totally new one. Also good Idea before any BIOS update to restore the BIOS to defaults too after backing up the TPM keys and then doing the update.
