Decided to upgrade the firmware on my Intel SSD tonight. After I did that opened office 2007 only to get reactivation message. That failed over internet so I telephoned Microsoft.

I explained that I had not replaced any hardware just updated firmware. I was told that I had to uninstall office 2007 and reinstall??

Did that and now I cannot use it as it failed activation. Microsoft say its the terms of use...

Grrrrr

Any advice. I'm presuming Microsoft have got this wrong?

My office 2007 version is from the home user NHS programme.

Err what phone number did you ring....activation is an automated service by phone when asked at the end you've got it installed on 1 machine and you get given an activation key.

I did try auto activation and it failed told me to telephone which I did.

Weird, if you press 1 for 1 machine at the end it just continues activation over the phone.
