Tried to boot my pc down and now I have to wait for the bloody updates for it to turn off. I didn't even ask for anything to be updated when it usually asks if you want to update now or later

These days you usually get the option to shut down or shut down and install updates.

Nope not this time. Its something to do with this 22h2 update so it could be a while as it's a big update

22H2 hasn't been released yet. I think it's due this month though.

The implementation of updates, taking executive actions while lacking real world context awareness is just pants on head stupid - I'm constantly gob smacked that MS can't manage to implement decent updates and store systems.
