Got Vista Ultimate (32 bit) running on my laptop but when I download updates, only a few install, others "fail" with the error code 80072EFD.
When I go to "help" it is telling me that it's a firewall issue and that I should add http://*.update.microsoft.com and a couple of similar sites to the exceptions list.
I have two questions .....
Why are some updates getting installed if it's a firewall issue?
If it's the firewall, how do I enter the sites mentioned in the exceptions list?
Any input would be appreciated.
