Yesterday I was running SETI on my laptop's Nvidia GT330M with no problems, but today it won't load any cuda WU's and the Event Log is showing:

SETI@Home ¦ NVIDIA GPU: Upgrade to the latest driver to use all of this project's GPU applications.

But when I tell windows to update the driver it says I am using the latest driver.

Anyone know how I get this GPU crunching again?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Stickman :)

Take a look in device manager and check which driver version you have installed - right click mycomp/properties/devices/properties/driver - something like that, once you have the installed dr version go to the nvidia website and check the lates available driver :)

Ah, sorted it, thanks ToxicTBag. :) It seems Windows 7 was lying to me: when I asked it to "update" it said it had the latest drivers, but when I checked, it didn't, so I did the manual install. Thanks again. :)

i noticed something similar with my macbook.

BOINC only uses GPU's when i reinstall the CUDA drivers, if i shutdown the macbook boinc suddenly forgets my GPU.

Its a bit naff though, 256MB 320M so not much good for GPU stuff.
