Updating Chipset Drivers (AMD)

Hello! Sorry for the potential noob Q.

I’ve updated my bios several times but I realised that I’ve never updated my AMD chipset drivers. Perhaps this is unnecessary for my use case but I thought it give it a whirl.

On AMD’s website I looked for the latest drivers for the 5950x. When I downloaded the AMD installer, it said it couldn’t do anything as it needed an SSD and a conventional hard drive to work (whereas I only have a single SSD).

Are these drivers only for regulating hard drive usage then? Seemed a bit of a strange install requirement!

Yup all installed fine, thanks chaps. Absolutely no different being noticed by me but maybe the temps have changed or something
