Hi,

I have put together what I think might be a reasonable rig perhaps the community would tell me what they think, bear in mind I have no idea about overclocking and would prefer to just have it all set up for me leaving just the installation to myself.

The Kit MoBo, CPU, Cooling fan but with 8GB memory= http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-080-OE £349.36

The Case=http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-149-AN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat £49.99

The DVD = http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CD-136-SA&groupid=701&catid=10&subcat £13.99

The Graphics Card either = http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-175-OK £195.95
or
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-140-MS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat £229.99

I Will need a PSU would a 750 watt be sufficient.

One other question; I have a 500 GB Sata drive with the retail version of Windows 7 home premium already so could I use this without re-formating.

I think my budget is going to be around the £700 mark.

The communities help would be appreciated.

Mike

Hi

Your case links not working
The bundles are pretty good really, you could also consider the 670i which uses an MSI gen 3 mobo

GFX card wise I'd go for the MSI too, as it will run quieter and cooler

PSU, if you dont plan on SLI then 600W would be plenty, if its a coolermaster case youre looking at then this PSU is very god and would allow you to use the code CMDOUBLE to save £20

Youre best reformatting and going for a clean install as it makes driver issues a lot easier (as in you dont get any)

That case is superb by all accounts, another one to perhaps consider in the same price range (about £3 more) is the HAF 912 by Coolermaster just giving you another option to look at :)
