Updating My PC

Hi All

I built a pc 5 years ago and now I need to update the internals. This upgrade is just for gaming and I was looking the below specification to buy at the end of March. Budget is £500 and was wondering if anyone could advise if there is a better spec or requires a change, by the way I always buy to overclock.

i'd swap the crucial memory for some corsair.

maybe look at the 8500 over the 8400 if u can afford the little extra, rest looks fine.

i would swap out the OCZ PSU and look at the Power & PC Cooling, or Corsair.

The 520W would be a good bet

Have a look at the dual core AMDs, Might save you a bit of money to spend else where.

Swap the PSU for this

Change the ram for some corsair, also the 1gb version of the 4870 is only £15 more

Everything else looks good. Although if you want crossfire ready, then up the mobo to the Pro version. Means you can add another 4870 at a later date if needs be. Obviously you might not need or want this feature.
