Any ideas on how I flash the newest version of the BIOS to the mobo?

EZ Flash doesn't want to recognise my USB, I tried flashing via ASUS Update in windows but this just gave me a black screen and I don't have a floppy drive to make a bootable floppy with the BIOS on.

Those are the options to update in the manual but as I say they're worse than useless.

Cheers

Is the usb drive formatted to FAT-32? Whatever you do, dont use the windows flash utility, it has a well known reputation for killing boards.

Yep, formatted to FAT-32 but doesn't show for some reason.

I thought the windows utility had killed my board when my screen went, suffice to say I won't be trying that again.

Do you have a floppy, alternatives are to make a bootable CD with an update utility and the relevant bios file and then change your boot option in the bios. Boot into the CD or floppy. call the upgrade utility.
Awdflash is the utility to use in dos I believe
