Ok i posted this in someone else`s thread but decided to make my own

I recently went out and ordered a 980TI, due to a shipping error 2 were sent, i was a good boy and waited 3 months and no one contacted me so in short i SLI`ed them ;)

So the problem is well the rest of my system isn't really built for the power it now has. So i am looking for an upgraded

Poking around the forums it seems the X99 route will be best for me.

current setup

i5-2500K
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB
OCZ ZX Series 850W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
Silverstone Raven 3 Full Tower
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
LG CH10LS20 10x BluRay-ROM / 16x DVDRW Lightscribe Drive - Black (Retail)

In this upgrade i am looking for a new SSD, Mobo, CPU (including cooler) and case. As a added bonus i am also looking for a good headset with a extra budget of around £100 - £150.

This is a gaming rig only with some very minor video encoding

Yeah I'd get x99. 5820k if you won't utilise over 28 lanes or 5930k if you want the full 40. Decent headset get beyerdynamic, sennheiser etc. if possible a good 7.1 sound card. Samsung 850 SSD 250gb. 16gb 4x4 DDR4, whatever takes your taste really.

Cooler get AIO, corsair h110i GT. Case again full tower and to your taste.
