Hi All,

i recently built a Ryzen 5 system with a Mortar motherboard and want to expand memory from 16 to 32 as i have had a few crashes.

current memory:Team Group Dark T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Grey (TDGED4

Coule someone suggest ram that will be compatible with this? I cannot find the same one on overclockers.

Is the above memory xmp enabled? I am hoping that isnt the reason for my crashes while playing MW Warzone

If you are planning on combining RAM then it is necessary to get the exact same model, speed and brand as your other ones. The official advice is that you should make sure they are the same batch number, but the same brand, model and speed should do. Me personally, I have 2x8GB 3600mhz Corsair vengeance RAM which I then mixed with 2x8GB 3600mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM. So far so good. So I’d say as long as you stick to the same company and speed, then you should be fine...

Putting more memory into a system that isn't stable to begin with isn't going to magically fix your crashes, you will likely get more.

You need to diagnose WHY it's crashing. If you say it's when gaming you likely have either GPU or CPU overheating issues.

I think its more related to enabling the xmp profile and boosting the ram...i dont even think the GPU or CPU get over heated that quickly...

I mean i have used the CPU paste correctly i think the fans are nore stable. Possibly the settings in Bios?
