Ok after giving up trying to fix my set up im RMAing the Mobo, CPU & 1 Stick of Memory to be tested however ive got a bit of extra cash in my next pay so was wondering whether to change to Intel or to get an SSD just looking for opinions. Current set up is in my Sig.

My System is mainly used for Playing games but also Streaming Videos to my TV & converting Videos

If I was going to stay with AMD id be better off getting one of the Top Phenoms over the BD as there about the same in price but are better for gaming.

Aswell as that i can always sell my Old Mobo & CPU & then get a SSD with the money from that.

Or just stick with the set up ive got for a while longer well once it gets fixed & add a SSD to it.

how much more Performance would i see swapping to Intel over just upgrading my CPU?

did the current system do what you needed it to when it was running ?

if it was then just get an ssd.

swapping over to intel depends on what budget you'd have.

if you can afford it, for the price difference (about £20) get the 128gb version.

if the £90 for the 128gb is to much the 64gb should be ok depending on what you have installed and how much disk it uses.

I'd have to second the 128Gb version if you can afford it, Windows on its own eats more that 20Gb these days, i've only got 30 gig left on my 120Gb SSD and steam is kept on my mech drive.

the other to consider is one of the samsung 128gb's, either will do you ok.

the m4's have been doing well for a while, and the samsungs are the recent ones that seem to be doing well.

i've got the m4 and i'm very happy with it.
