If you replace just the mobo, cpu and gfx the you could get this

MB-101-AS Asus A8N-SLi SE nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-101-AS)
£69.95 £69.95
CP-134-AM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA3800BVBOX) (CP-134-AM)
£182.95 £182.95
GX-034-OK OcUK GeForce 6800 GS 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-034-OK)
£109.95 £109.95
Subtotal £362.85
VAT £63.50
Total £426.35

That gives you dual core and a fairly decent gfx card. If you went single core then youd get this, this would be my choice, gives very good performance, i know as this is the exact setup i have.

thats what im looking for im just looking into a few things and im going to order in a few days someones offered me 180 pounds for my old cpu mobo and gfx so im going to take that and maybe get a better gpu im not sure i would prefer ati cards as i've had n vidia and the drivers seemed to be a pain in the backside ill see how it fans out in a week or so tops and let you guys know , thanks a lot :D
