Evening folks,

Considering upgrading a couple of pieces which has led to almost a new system but thought I'd ask for guidance.

Current Cpu - phenom X4 925 and a gtx 460.

Was looking at the Z77 i5 bundle, a gtx670 or 680 and a case.

Don't need HD's SSD's or PSU, 750W should do the trick? My case is an old coolmaster so wanna swap it out.

Any suggestions? Think the above is decent and it'll come to around £800 i think. Any other suggestions would be good.

Cheers

What is the make / model of your PSU?

Have you thought about buying the items separately and overclocking your self.

You chaps work quick cheers.

Current PSU: Antec TruePower New Modular 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Should do the trick?

Always fancied an MSI Twin Frozr card.

Thanks for your help guys. :) Early crimbo present.

Hey guys,

Was unsure how to do the proper basket thing. Going ahead with the items below. The cheaper cooler mentioned above is out of stock and theres a few to chose from at a similar price of £30-£40. Any other stand out as clear choices?

Also was wondering about the RAM, seen these on special this week.
GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

But not sure how much diff it makes to the Kingston?

I've gone a little over but you do get the gaming surface and some nice "geeky" extras with this UD3H. Nothing wrong with the mobo you picked if you want to save a few quid.

Are you not in the mainland UK? You should get free P&P

Yeh I'll get it free now that you mention it.

I did look at that mobo but struggled to distinguish the benefit of having it over the one originally picked.....hence it probably means i won't get the most out of spending the extra pennies.

Hadn't really considered spending a bit more on a case. Might be worth the punt though, got a cheapo coolmaster at the moment.

The UD3H has an onboard power button, makes it dead easy to test out of the case. RJC kindly did a side by side comparison, ta mate, saved me a link there :)

The gaming mat if you flip it will become an anti-static work surface to build on ;)

Does this work? I guess the prices are about to change today so the total may go up £20 or so.

My PSU currently sits in the top of my case, will it be an issue if the fan is pointing to the floor of the Frac case or can i just flip it around? Potentially a silly question.

Cheers

Ordered before deals changed.

Always feel guilty spending money on myself.

Now all i have to do is forge a plan that will hide this new gear from the Mrs...
