Hi

I've finally scrimped enough cash to update my now aging system. I'm currently running:
CPU:Q6600
Mobo: Asus Maximus Formula
Memory: 4GB DDR2
GFX: 2 ATI 4870's in CF
HDD's: 1x 60GB SSD, 2x 650GB RAID 0, 1x 1.5TB
PSU: 750W (I Think)

I've decided to upgrade the Mobo, CPU, Memory and GFX card. This will mainly be for gaming but also I've just landed a tech support job so I'll be wanting to run a few VM's on it at any given time when I want to test things out.
This was my first idea before thinking about VM's as I figured I didn't need more memory than that and the i5 will be more than enough to cope. I like to have a Mobo that can handle CF because I normally pick up a second card cheap off fleabay a few years down the line as I can't afford a new card that often:

However is it worth the extra cost upgrading to this keeping the VM's in mind:

First how does it look in genral, hopefully I haven't overlooked anything and second are the i7 and extra memory a good idea if I'm running VM's?
