Hi,

Now winter is here, I am looking at upgrading my motherboard / CPU & ram (& SSD if it is worthwhile).
I built this rig over 10 years ago and have only really upgraded the CPU and graphics card.

I game at 1440p - mainly FPS like Battlefield etc.

I have a budget of around £1000-1200 (couple of hundred more if it is really worthwhile).
What are my best options?

I dont mid going either Intel or AMD, no particular sway.
Or would I be better off waiting a short time longer for any upcoming newer tech?

Many thanks

My PSU has worked flawlessly since I got it.
I have not gamed heavily for 3-4 years, so will it really need changing?
I was also considering a NVMe SSD for the operating system?

Thanks for your advice

Question on the mobo - What is the on-board sound like, or would I be better off sticking with my current Xonar card? (I use headphones but I also play loud music through my speakers in my man cave - so want decent quality).
Which PSU should I look at?
Which M2?

Will the current Cyber discounts last all of this week?
Apologies for the questions :)
