Upgrade advice (From MM)

Hey guys, there is a bundle for sale over in the MM which is this
1 x Intel Core i7 i7-4790K CPU (Quad Core 4GHz, Socket H3 LGA-1150)
1 x Plextor PX-G1256M6E 256GB M6e M.2 2280 PCI Express Gen2 x2 SSD
1 x G.Skill F3-2133C9Q-32GZH DDR3-RAM Memory Module 32 GB / 2133 MHz / CL9 (4x8GB kit)
1 x Maximus VII HERO - Socket 1150 - Chipset Z97 - ATX - Motherboard
for £400 asking price

My question is, versus my 3770k with 16GB RAM, for gaming, am I going to see a decent upgrade? How long would it last me? Should I plump up more money for a coffee lake(?), get a kaby lake (?) when coffee comes out?
I would be using my 980TI or sticking in a 1080TI I have access to and it would be for 1440p gaming

Overclock what you have. I wouldnt make that move personally.

Would stick with what you have and keep saving for refresh next year probably.

Edit: Just seen your post count, how did you get access to MM I have nearly 900 posts and don’t yet I think I need a 1,000!

I've been a member for a long time (2004) and it was a lower requirement back then!

The upgrade would be minimal, keep you money and more cores is the future. Would jump from one 4 core to another 4 core if I were you.
