Hey Folks so have this CPU now for 3 years and its served its self well although due to me gaming at 1080p Ultrawide 144hz its particularly struggling to produce high framerates even hitting an average of only 80fps at low settings on Warzone :(

Ive already Decided on the Motherboard of the Aorus B550 Elite which i feel for the money seems the best in my opinion.

also ive already purchased another 960 EVO 500gb so will be running 2 of these on the above board.

so as u all probably know from the recent AMD stream the new 5000 series processors are being released on November 5th just in time for the new Games i intend on Playing which include Cyberpunk 2077,Call of Duty Cold War and lastly Destiny 2 Beyond Light :)

I Was hoping for a 5700x to be announced with an included Cooler but that doesn't look to be the case. :(

So looks to be either a 5800x with a Wraith Spire RGB which would be around 440 pounds total.

Or Like a 3700x which will probably have came down a little by then.

is a 50% Increase in performance asking to much of the 5800x considering the 10700k which is its direct rival is around 30% faster in gaming at 1080p.

This upgrade is primarily just for an Increase to gaming performance although i would like to keep the 8 cores and 16 threads for potentially streaming in the future as the 5600x is overpriced?

any help is greatly appreciated :)

@doodah i know what your saying and it makes sense although i want to run Cyberpunk 2077 at Ultra settings with RTX on at over 60fps Min and Cold War competitively at 144fps and not sure a 3700x will do that with my 2070 Super?

Yea i know what you's are saying and yea that's why i got the second 500gb drive as only 70gb left on this 1 so not enough for Cyberpunk and Cod got it for only 60 pounds so was a good buy tbh.

and yea il wait for the reviews to see how much of a gain it is in performance i dont mind spending the money as long as its at least 40% or more faster than my 1700 at 1080p i want this CPU to do me another 3 years like my 1700 has done.

@Sleepy Stu why do u have 4400mhz ram and what are u running it at/ with what timings?
