Hi there, at the moment I am using the onboard sound for my system. It's a realtek HD audio chip and so far it has been ok for what I have needed. Unfortunately it turns out to have major probs when using a microphone. When using the voice setup function or any other util that uses voice it loops the sound back and gets louder as it does it. I've pretty much tried everything I can think of to sort it to no avail.
I'm pretty much on a budget of £50 max and have been looking at the following options.
Internal
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio
External
Creative Xmod X-Fi External Soundcard
Icemat Siberia USB Soundcard
As the main reason for the new card is to get the mic working in teamspeak the usb options seem fairly viable. The internal card appears to have the right connector on it to allow me to connect the ports on the front of my case.
I would appreciate any comments and opinions on the above choices or recommendations of any other possibilities I may have overlooked.
Thanks
