Hi everyone.

I have some new parts arriving soon. A ryzen 5 2500 with the B450 Auros Elite Motherboard and 16gb Ram. I have a few questions -

-I'll be using the new parts with my GTX 970 and a couple of SSDs and I currently have an Antec Truepower 650 psu that is fairly old, will it be ok with the new parts or would an upgrade be needed? (I don't have tons of cash!)
-How easy is it to sort out Windows as I think the version I am using is a Windows 10 upgrade from 7 that I did years ago.
- If I don't need a new PSU I could be persuaded to get a nice new case for around £50-60 as my current one is quite old and I would like something a bit smaller tbh
Cheers.

Hopefully you didn't pay much from that worser CPU VRM than in Asrock B450 Pro4 board.
Antec has had quite a few Truepower lines, so what's the precise model number?

I bought the board last year as I've been buying parts as I have been able to afford them. It's the Asus TUF B450-PLUS GAMING AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard. Can't remember how much it was.
I'm trying to find out the model of the psu, it's at least 7 years old now as that's he last time I did anything major to it:eek:

Are there any decent mid tower cases I can get for around £50?

I did get a new case in the end. This one - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...-atx-case-black-tempered-glass-ca-251-cs.html

I really like it. So easy to use. And the reinstallation of Windows 10 was surprisingly easy considering it was an upgraded Windows 7 install, I was expecting all sorts of issues to crop up!

I can't afford a new gpu atm, but hopefully I will pick something up some time this year. What would be a good upgrade from a gtx 970 considering I game only at 1920x1080? Budget is always a factor and I wonder if I could get a worthwhile upgrade for around £250?

The 979 has been an amazing servant over the years. What a card!

Well that's that settled. My PSU is definitely failing. What should I be looking at? I've put the system together and it's great, but it's clear the psu is really struggling.

Cheers
