Upgrade advice needed pls

I am considering an upgrade to the setup in my sig. I would like to go Quad core and have between 4-8GB of memory as this will be used for gaming but also for 3D computer modelling/rendering.

If possible I would like to keep under £400 but still get a good setup. I also don't know if I will need to change the waterblocks that I have?

All advice welcome.

Thanks for those suggestions mate.

Was just wondering though what motherboard to get as I belive the one I have now has a few issues with Quad core CPU's so I think getting a new one would be an idea. Also as the CPU you suggested is an LGA 775 I won't need to change the CPU Waterblock to that Apogee as my Dtek Fusion should be fine.

What is that motherboard like for overclocking as I will definetly want to overclock the CPU and also will my EK NB waterblock fit that board?

So no advice on this setup? Just really wanting to know if the mobo is ok and if I would need to change my EK Asus NB waterblock.
