Upgrade Advice Needed

I'm planning an upgrade to my current setup-

C2D E6300 (OC'd to 2.5Ghz)
ASUS P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi
1GB DDR2 533Mhz (OC'd to 800)
2x250GB SATA II
1x160GB SATA II
SATA DVD ReWriter
x1650pro
TV tuner card
600W Seasonic PSU
All in an Antec P180B
Vista/XP/Ubuntu

My main two upgrade priorities are obviously memory and my graphics card.

I'm thinking of getting a 2x2GB kit so when its needed I can upgrade again to 8GB. Would this be a waste of money at the moment or would I be better off with 2GB and a better CPU? I use my PC for a lot of gaming and most of my TV viewing is through Vista's Media Center often on my Xbox360 in my bedroom.

Also I'm not entirely sure whether to buy an Ati x1950xt now and wait till the r600 is released before either getting an 8800 gtx at reduced prices(presumably) or a r600, or get an 8800 GTS now and just keep that. I use two 20" lcds so I'm not sure I'd need an 8800 gtx for a long time.

Ideally I'd prefer to spend less than £1000 on upgrades and I'm also planning to get more hard drives, preferably a pair of raptors in raid 0 for the vista install and decent speakers and an x-fi sound card.

So my current idea of upgrades is this:

BFG 8800 GTS 320MB £234.99

4GB RAM (2x2GB) Kingston HyperX £352.49

X-Fi Xtreme Music Card £51.11

2x WD Raptor 150GB 10,000RPM £321.92

Which comes to just under £1000 but I'm not entirely convinced that this is the best use of a grand to upgrade my PC. So any help would be entirely welcome. :D

Sell your current memory kit. Buy a GeIL C4 2GB kit from OcUK for just over £100 and then get an 8800. But I would have thought two 20" would need the 640MB/768MB on the bigger GTS and GTX models.

4GB is overkill by the way!
