I'm looking to upgrade my pc with a budget of £450 ish.

My current setup:

Intel Core Duo E2180 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.00GHz (800FSB)
Abit IP35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 MoBo
Asus GeForce EN8800 GT 512MB GDDR3
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) 800MHz DDR2
Corsair VX 450W ATX PSU
Hitachi 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache
Arctic cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler (775)

I primarily use my pc for gaming, specifically World of Warcraft. Since the new the expansion i've been having problems with low fps (<15) in populated areas and in 25 man raids. I've tried a number of things to increase fps: update drivers, disable addons, limit processes, change/lower graphical settings, reinstall WoW and even format my HDD...but in end the nothing seems to work.
So i've come to the conclusion my system can't achieve the level of performance i'm looking for in newer games which means i'm in need of an upgrade.

So I would appreciate it if I could some get some advice what to upgrade. The only requirement I have is a SSD (32/64gb).

Thanks.

four things spring to mind.

a used Q6600 for around £75, add your heatsink too and overclock.

Buy a DDR2 4GB (2x2GB) kit, and sell your current 2GB kit.

and sell the 8800GT for £35 and buy a GTX460/560/ati 6950.

and ditch the old slow hardrive for a Samsung f3 500GB

Thanks Stulid. I forgot to mention my main HDD is a WD 1TB SATAII 32MB cache.

Ok so i've had a browse on OC and i've come up with this so far.

As for the Q6600 i'll keep an eye out for any second hand deals on eBay.

Noob question but will that SSD work with my MoBo?

thanks.
