Upgrade advice of X1950

Looking to upgrade my old graphics card to a more newer one and was looking at the Ati 4850 and was wondering if my PSU would handle it in my current spec.

Checked specs and says need 450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI, so hoping my current PSU can do the job (Akasa AK-P460FG BL)

Only got about £140 so either a 4850 or a lower of the 3000 series (not sure which yet)

im lookin to upgrade from a x1950 aswell but i was lookin at the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3870 XT "Ultimate Edition and wonderin if it will work on my earthwatts 500w pawerpack (cheep pawerpack)
