Upgrade Advice Please

Just decided to head back to PC gaming (need my MMORPG fix lol) and have the following parts already from a previous build.

Viewsonic 19" TFT 1280 x 1024
WD 120gb SATA
LG 16x DVD-RW
Antec SLK1650B + Enermax Liberty 400w

I am looking therefore for

CPU
Motherboard
1gb RAM
PCI-E Card

The only problem is budget, which is limited to around £275.

Any ideas what is best to go for? I was thinking AMD X2 3800+ or maybe better to go for Intel?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Heres another setup, its an AMD setup but with a much better graphics card plus 10 pound under budget. Most will recommend Core2duo for its overclocking and coolness plus myself.. but with limited money its not like the AMD are bad chips over night! Plus the graphics card will help you out more in long run than a 7300
