Upgrade advice please

I have a rig in need of an upgrade, enough so I can run BF4.

I have a q6600@ 2.8gig
8gigs of ddr3 vengeance
In an asus g41 matx board
I have a msi 560ti twin frozer at the moment, but it struggles to run battlefield 4 at the lowest setting. The res I'm running is only 1680x1050 and I only have a budget of £130 for a small upgrade at this time. So I was considering either a 750ti or a r7 260 what are your thoughts?

Your CPU is holding you back more than your GTX560Ti (unless you run Ultra on it).

The best solution to your current situation without breaking the bank is probably get a AMD card such as the 270/270x, and hope that Mantle can work properly in reducing the CPU limitation.

I wouldn't recommend going 260 or the 750Ti, as a) the 260 wouldn't be much faster than the 560Ti and b) 750Ti won't support Mantle, which is crucial for remediating your current CPU limitation problem.

Try 3.0GHZ most will do it esp. if a newer stepping think it was B3 to C0 but cannot remember it was that long ago
