upgrade advice please

a few weeks ago my psu took out my fx 8150 and mobo etc , which cpu and mobo/ram etc is the best bang for buck while gaming ? . around £300 for cpu this week (mobo and ram next week)

yes I overclock a little and it will be for mainly gaming and maybe some rendering , but I am starting to record said gameplay soon so is a quad core enough ? .
would like it to last a while as well , I have a rx480 and a r9 290 (but not at the same time lol)
