Hi, what do you think of an rx 5700 xt with waterblock for £350? used of course and if I can get it delivered, currently not an option strangely.

As @Mr G recommends, same money, slightly better card, warranty and new. Plus you can use SAM to improve performance if your system allows.

You can get a 3060 Ti for £400 brand spanking new. Absolutely nothing will touch it in terms of value. If you're feeling adventurous you can probably get a better deal on used market on some other cards but I'd avoid anything that isn't DX12 Ultimate compliant, so no RDNA 1.
And truthfully I'd take an Ampere over RDNA2 card at this point since we're moving into an era where some games are making RT mandatory (Metro EE, Avatar, etc.) and therefore the performance starts skewing more in favour of Nvidia. Not to mention DLSS is the best upscaling/AA solution and has the most adoption, and is becoming ubiquitous at least for major releases.

At £350 (elsewhere) i'd say go for the 6700 (the prices here shot up from below £350 to nearer £400 recently, so not worth it from here), if wanting to push to £400, then the 3060ti. They're your 2 best options imo.

Putting them in price order, cheapest is 390 plus delivery. I'm really pushing it spending £361 on that water-cooled card with delivery.

What about a used 5700 xt that isn't water-cooled, they're about £220, withthe intension of buying a waterblock in the future, spreading the cost out which would help.
It might not overclock as well at the mentioned Power color Liquid Devil though

If your on a budget, then you can't go wrong with an RX 6600 new for £250-£260. You might be able to snag a 6600 XT second hand for less?

Ah elsewhere, OK. I'll have a look around, I suppose I could watercool that in the future as there are waterblock for the 6700s too.

I have a free sync monitor so need to stick with AMD really plus I've always leaned more in AMDs favour.

They've likely been either scalped or mined though?
And a 5700 xt performs at least as good according to gpu benchmark.
Also there's no water blocks for those.

I personally wouldn't touch second hand Amd 57** or nvidia 3060/ti cards with a bargepole. The 5700xt especially is more lightly to have had a tough life these past few years due to all the trading that's been happening, who knows how many systems one would've been in, increasing the likelyhood of some person man handling it.

The new cards mentioned here are all sounder choices, especially if you're planning on keeping it for some years like your 480.

Same scenario for a second hand 5700 XT?
The one I've mentioned hasn't been mined on, I can't be certain of course but it seems the dodgy ones have multiple carsd for sale and don't have good feedback etc.
And 6600 is 1% slower than 5700 xt and no water blocks for them.
Im going to have a look around online when I'm back at home on my pc.
