Hey guys, with my current rig I'm starting to turn some settings down to medium in the latest games (Witcher 3, GTA 5) and want something to bump that up as high as possible.

It's a multi-monitor (24") Web + Mobile development machine by day and a gaming rig by night.
I'm looking for advice on what to keep / what to ditch and what to spend on.

I've got:
OS, Mouse, Keyboard
Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case
Asus Z77 Sabertooth Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail
Crucial RealSSD M4 256GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (CT256M4SSD2)
MSI GeForce GTX 670 OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML16GX3M2A1600C10)
Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler

I'm hoping to keep it under £500 but if there are significant benefits with a little more spent, put that forward too.

Thanks, you're awesome.

Tristan

Looking at that list of bits,

• Overclock the CPU if its not already
• Add a new GFX card

Thats about all I can see, what PSU do you have?

How about buying a nice keybaord+mouse?

CPU isn't overclocked, little out of my depth with that.

I couldn't find what PSU I've got, but it would be from about the same period in time (May 2012). It would have been mid-tier though. I'm pretty happy with the mouse and keyboard though.

A new Graphics cards is going to give you the biggest bump in gaming.

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclock ACX 2.0 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (04G-P4-2983-KR) £449.99
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £289.99
Total : £749.58 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

One of these would probably be the best thing to get your pc running on high/ultra settings again. Maybe with an OC on the CPU if you havent already.
Is there a huge difference between these and this? Other than price?

The Gigabyte G1 Gaming is a superior card.

Better cooler, custom PCB, I think they bin the GPUs to select the best ones too.
