Ill be getting a PCIe graphics card from a local shop as ill be trading in my current 6800Ultra in for store credit.

Which out of the above two systems do you think will be better for gaming, office work and programming(mainly Java and php, with php running on wamp)

Thanks in advance to anyone who drops by and gives me some advice :)

Gaming I'd be going for the AMD option, also I think you may need XP Pro for dual core systems as I don't think Home has that capability. I'm also not sure that the case and PSU are quite good enough for that system, I'd be tempted to get at least a 400w PSU.

Forgot to mention ive gotta OCZ Powerstream PSU, its the 470W version, and from what ive read Home is ok for multicore CPU's its just not ok for multi CPU setups.
