Richt i have my Sig PC. Been having Random blue screens since building. Been back to shop 8 times am fed up. Changed board once and ram,so ruled that out.Ruled out graphics and hard drive.

What im gonna do is just buy a core 2 duo and mainboard. This has slightly destroyed my faith in AMD. Do u reckon this should sort problems. And is E4300 a good chip.

Changing the system will probably sort the problem but it is a bit of a drastic step. The E4300 is a good chip, what is your budget here? I'm sure something suitable can be specified for you. :)

basically £150 dont want to change anything else do u reckon i should just pop another amd 64 x2 in would that solve it as everything else has basically been changed. By the way it fails Orthos by bue screening after about 10 secs.

is this a shop bought pc?

if it is.. download orthos take it to the shop
tell them to run it until it bsod ya

its more than likley volts or memory

I'd follow paul_64l's advice but if you really want to change then this might be suitable for your needs. :)

Cheers guys well i think i have found the problem. I could not run orthos before for more than 10 seconds. Even though i have had the ram changed , i thought i might check again. Removed each stick and tested with just one. With one in i was still getting errors, tried the other one instead and NO ERRORS. :D. Been running Orthos for 30 mins so far so good do you reckon its that ram as the cpu is not erroring , and any recomendations for some good quality RAM.

Thanks mate will purchase some, its a shame that on my 8th visit too the shop they could not solve it. They were not even open to the suggestion they had a bad batch. Will definatly never use them ever again. :(
