Okay so i just upgraded from am2+ to am3

Im running:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Kingston 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Asus M4A79XTD EVO 790X Socket AM3
Western Digital WD3000HLFS 300GB Velociraptor
2 x Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB HDD
BFG 9800GTX+ 512MB
Corsair 850W HX Modular PSU

Everything but the samsung hd's and gfx has been replaced.

Now i want to replace the Graphics. But for < £200. but as the motherboard is now Crossfire rather then SLI im looking at ATI cards... but im not sure as theres not phyx support?

Any advice or help would be very much appreciated...?

Can you still use the Phyx cards you used to be able to buy from the likes of asus?.. aint heard much about them since nvidia took over...

no, only nvidia cards will work.

I would suggest stretching your money and getting a 5850, you will be able to OC this to almost 5870 performance. Use the 9800gtx+ for physx this will give you great performance in that area.

im looking at PowerColor HD 5850 PCS 1GB

I heard all the 5850's use the same reference design so make doesnt matter much? any comments on this card compared to others? and how much do they overclock?

- Ordered...... two free games aswell. cant twist...
