Hi all on the forum.
Looking for some advice on upgrading my processor or going for i7 2500K setup.
Currently have an i7 920 chip that I purchased when they come out, way before the D0. As such it only runs at 3.2gig and thats pushing it.
My motherboard is an Asus P6T Deluxe with 6 gig Corsair dominator memory.
Like some, I am waiting to see how the X70 performs, but in the meantime would it be worth getting an i7 950 to replace this old i7 920.
When I look at the price of this chip, might as well get i7 2500k and a new motherboard.
Sorry if you get this question constant, but going round in circles with it.
Should add that I use machine for Autocad / 3d work and gaming when i have the chance.
