Upgrade advice

Hey guys, just a bit of advice needed :)

Looking to get a new Cpu, mobo, ram, PSU and graphics card...the thing is i haven't really upgraded in a long time so I dont really know what's the best I can get for my money. Have an Antec 300 and a 500gb Hard drive from my old rig so they should do fine.....Mainly going to use it for gaming...and can only spend at most around £380 or so, so I'm on a fairly tight budget. Would this be worth getting? Thanks

i3 2100 is massively faster while using less power.
 
Or you can easily get away with a 500W PSU, which means you can get a better GPU,

Dont get suckered into the whole "its only got two cores" thing.

The simple facts are its two cores (with hyperthreading also;)) are of a much newer design and this makes it faster than the old architecture of the Athlons and Phenoms.

For example - http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core-i3-2120-2100_5.html#sect0 -its clearly ahead of the Phenom955be, which unlike the Phenom850 has L3 cache memory, the Phenom850 is actually a Athlon core at a higher speed.

And the motherboard has SATA3.0 and USB3.0 and isnt a dead end socket like AM3 is.
