Looking to upgrade my PC as it's getting on a bit now and was wondering the best route to go.

Current Spec:

C2D E8400 @ 4.00GHz

4GB DDR2 PC2-8500C5

ASUS P5Q

ASUS ENGTX480

XFX 650W XXX Edition Modular Power Supply

2x 640GB Spinpoint F1 HDD's

Help !

Please! :p

I would say your pc is still fine.

You could sell the motherboard, memory and CPU and get a SB setup.

Sandybridge is LGA1155 right?

Is there a point where price/performance meet at an ideal point? (With regards to the CPU etc)

The 2500k which can be overclocked to around 4.4ghz with ease and a reasonable motherboard and 4gb of ddr3 ram.

Are there any standout Memory/Motherboard Combo's at the moment?

How's the Asus P67 Sabertooth ?

The sheer choice of memory is confusing me !

Spec below, motherboard has the abillity to run PCI-E 3 with Ivy Bridge when launched to give a possible furure upgarde.
