Upgrade advice

Hi guys, I have been mulling over how to upgrade my machine for better BF3 performance and rendering in 3d studio max. Primarily for gaming though

My current machine specs are in my sig.

I have £665 to spend around the end of November and I am being swayed towards going for a Motherboard and CPU upgrade.

I have been looking at the i7 2600k sandybridge bundles but I really want a minimum 12 GiG RAM for my supreme commander 2 sessions (2000 unit limit)

I have recently bought these and would quite like to be able to use at least two of them on the new build as the reccomended MOBO's all appear to be dual channel.

Another requirement is I need 10 SATA slots and would like DDR3 capability.

Can you guys reccomend the best way to spend this money and would the performance increase be worth the expense?

Dont think thats possible

Wait for Sandybridge-E, these socket2011 boards will have the SATA port amounts your after.

Okeedoke, I can do that

Just been googling this sandybridge-E and it says it should be out around the time I am thinking of buying (late November)

I'll hold for now and see what happens over the next month or so.
