Hi there, I'm hoping to upgrade my current set up, heres what I have at the moment:

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.50GHz
Gigabyte GA-P43-ES3G Intel P43 (Socket 775)
Coolermaster Elite 335 Case
Corsair TX 650W ATX
Corsair XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 TwinX Dual Channel
EVGA Nvidia GTX470

Im hoping to use the bundle linked here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-080-OE&groupid=43&catid=2053&subcat=2063

I'm mainly checking that the bundle will fit in the case ok, and my current power supply should be ok with the bundle.

Thanks in advance!

Your case is a mid-tower case. Its around 42cm high so that is enough to fit this heatsink and a full sized ATX board in. It will be a snug fit but it will fit. Its also a great upgrade to the 2500K as thats a really well performing CPU plus it's overclocked, if i read correctly.

This is from another user on this site, with that case.

Also your PSU will be fine, the i5's and Intel's actually use very little power at stock clocks. I do want to ask you to make sure you case has good airflow with good cable management as this is overclocked so it will run a bit hotter than a stock 2500K but with a few fans with this case the air flow should be sufficient, or more :) just something to be aware of that im sure you were.

No problem :) i had a similar problem with my mate who has a CM case similare to yours and he was getting a Gigabyte board full ATX board and it just fit in right nice and snug at the bottom.

If air flow is no problem then i wish you best luck with you new system :) i will bring you some joyful increased performance over your Dual core CPU.

For £10 more the system Idleman gave is better. But the 2500K is overclocked so will actually be faster for its price than the Ivy in this case. Unless Tonux personally overclocked the CPU himself to about 3.7/3.8GHz. Though i agree with Idleman as the Ivy's offer a much better upgrade path for PCI-E 3.0 cards at least.

Hi, I'll probably be going with Idleman's suggestion. I'm guessing I'll have to buy some thermal paste aswell? If so im guessing Arctic Silver 5?

Thanks
