Upgrade Advice

Looking to upgrade my ageing PC by adding new Mobo, CPU, Ram and cooler.
Budget is about £600-650. Current set up is an i7-920 @3.2 based system, 6GB Ram. Case is Antec 1200, PSU is 650w Corsair and graphics are sorted by a 7950.

Reason for upgrade is the lack of Sata lll and USB 3.0 as well as the age issue. Would my budget allow for an increase in performance or will I do better selling this set up and adding the proceeds to my budget for a whole new system?

I do a little video editing, convert VOB's to MKV and a lot of BF4

You should be able to fit the Kuhler in the rear 2 120mm fan slots.. Needs to be installed bore the GPU's are.
