Hey all had my system now for around 4 years in that time I have only upgraded the graphics card. Feel like my system is lacking behind even though I hear that my cpu is still decent despite its age;

Cpu - 2500k 3.30 ghz stock not overclocked yet.
GPU - MSI 770 lightning 2gb version.
Ram - 8gb corsair xms3 I believe.
PSU - XFX Black edition either 850 or 750 watt I cant remember which.
SSD - 60GB.
HDD - 500GB seagate barricuda.
Monitor - LG LED 24 inch.

Any recommendations for upgrades or should I be more looking at a complete new setup? I typically game at the moment at 1920 by 1080. Thanks in advance :).

Overclock CPU if motherboard supports it.

Better graphics card

Bigger SSD.

SHould keep you going for another couple of years at least.

Thanks for the replies everyone, looks like updating the GPU is the best upgrade possible then :). Is there anyway for me to tell Stulid before buying the new card if id have to update the bios? Did have to do anynthing when i upgraded from the 480 to the 770 ? Thanks in advance.

It either will work or wont.

Take the Gigabyte Z77-D3H for example, that is famous for needing a BIOS update to work with newer cards that came out after it was released, Luckily being a Z77 chipset you can update the BIOS by using the onboard gfx to display a BIOS/screen image to do the update.

Stulid I shall say it on behalf of everyone I have seen you help over the last however many years you are a hero and a legend!
